FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

Can I just turn up?

As we are a multifaceted venue, we often have other events taking place which requires the Rollerdrome to be shut and prevents us from having set opening hours.

Our website calendar will tell you what skate sessions are happening each week, and we recommend booking in advance.

Please ALWAYS check the calendar before just turning up, in case we have to make any last minute cancellations.

How far in advance can I book?

Due to being a multifaceted venue, we tend to put our skate sessions up a month or so in advance.

We always announce on social media and in our mailer when new sessions have been added.

Can I buy tickets on the door?

You can buy tickets on the door if they are available, however we'd always recommend booking online to secure your space! This way we can keep an eye on numbers and how busy the rink may be.

Please bear in mind we are a cashless venue.

Can I come without having to skate?

Of course! Spectators are welcome to come in for free.

Why not grab a drink and take advantage of our selection of board games?! Board games can be signed out from the bar.

Is there a safe place to store our belongings?

Yes, we have some lockers available.

What is your refund policy?

Unless we have to cancel or postpone your session, we don’t offer refunds. However if you feel you cannot make your slot we will look at rearranging it for you.

Is there food and drink available?

Yes, we have a fully stocked bar with a selection of hot and cold drinks, both soft and alcoholic, and delicious pizza slices!

Ask us about our pre-order menu if you're coming with a group!

How old do I have to be to come and skate?

Some skating slots are adult-only and require all attendees to be over 18.

Some slots are family friendly and are open to people of all ages provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult over 25.

Under 3s should not skate but can come and watch with their parents or guardians.

What size skates do you have, and can we hire some there?

We have from children's size 6A, all the way through to adult size 12.

Skate and all protective padding hire is £2.50 (and free for children under the age of 16!)  you can pay for this when you arrive at our venue.

Please bear in mind we are a cashless venue.

What's the easiest way to get to IWF Rollerdrome?

-You can get the train to Moorfields Station on Old Hall Street, and it's a 15 minute walk.

-If you wish to drive here, we unfortunately don't have a designated carpark for customers, however there is parking around the venue which is free for up to 2 hours!
